Any thoughts

Hello everybody it’s me again got this bowl with lid today and was wondering if any one has any thoughts about it if it might be old of if it’s something you buy at pier imports it’s looks Chinese to me or made to look Chinese the coral and Turquoise is real not plastic and the bottom rim has a camel hallmark I just don’t know anyways any thoughts would be great.

 

I was thinking Persia.

Arabic on the bottom.

 

Thank you everyone for the replies so it’s Persian made to look like Chinese must be a junky tourist piece then.

 

I would have thought one of the Himalayan countries, or Chinese meant to look Tibetan. Appears to be a Bactrian camel, so maybe even Afghanistan.

 

Thanks for your thoughts bronwen I kind thought the same area since the camel mark what a confusing item a lot of different. Attributes going on with it whatever it is it’s good for holding all my little things I have. Thanks again. Matt

Think this is at least the third time I have plugged it into a post here, but always puts a big smile on my face too.

 

She’s not laughing, she and Clyde are singing a duet, I have the soundtrack somewhere. Their music is, shall we say, an acquired taste.
