Anybody familiar with this makers mark on pocket knife?

    Imperial....celluloid handle....is what they say.....????

    but I'm used to Imperial being stamped on the blade and having a 4 tipped crown, or at least HAMMER BRAND stamped on the blade... upload_2017-7-1_19-45-26.jpeg

    Then again....this is said to be and older model........
    so I'm thinking I don't know everything.......

    So how much older is this knife than the ones dated on you pic, the blade says
    Stainless
    Imperial
    Pr??? USA

    Found this chart that dates the knife to 1946 -1956 only difference is mine has stainless over the imperial and doesn't have the crown over the letter i
    So I'm guessing it fits that timeframe because it's the closest thing to it IMG_7570.JPG
