Featured ANYONE HEARD OF LATIN AMERICAN ARTIST 'SOLIS'?

    I found this at a local thrift store & thought it was beautiful. It feels like it was done on board, but behind the paper on back is a foamboard like piece.
    The painting is signed Solis - has anyone heard of him/her?
    Is it Columbian (the colorful bus)?
    Also it is large 48 x 30 - too big to be a tourist piece, right?

    In the olden days, I could hand carry a framed poster back on an airplane. It fit behind the last seats. Not anymore. Looks touristy to me. Never heard of Solis.

    There is a bank called Caja Agraria in Colombia. Ah, and the Colombian telephone company is called Telefónica Telecom. So think you're right.

    Can't find a painter named Solís. The village in your painting is called Santa Ana. On the Flota bus company line. May be a real place.

    That is a "z" not an "s" . Found a Jordan soliz online but not his work. Doubt you will find the artist on this one.

    Apologies. I wrote Solís but it is indeed Solíz. A less common spelling. But can't find anything.
