Hi, I have two beautiful and delicate lampwork dancers that are unsigned but I'm pretty sure they were made by Istvan Komaromy in the 50s or 60s. They came in old cardboard boxes and were probably stored for decades. They measure 5" and 7" high. They're so delicate that I'm afraid of handling them. Does anyone have experience with these? I would love to keep them, but kitties and kiddies would probably break them pretty quickly. Any idea of value? Thanks!

How nice, reminds me of work by Bimini. A quick search suggests they may have decent value. If you have a look on Worthpoint and see if you can find similar there are some kind people on here which have accounts and can tell you the realised prices.

OK, thanks. I looked up Bimini and have found quite a few Bimini and Komaromy pictures on Pinterest. The investigation continues!

I'd say Bimini. A friend collects these.

Just saw these on BBC Antiques Roadshow ! season 30,episode 15,Rochester Cathedral .The expert thought them Bimini at first, then identified them as Istvan Komaromy 1950s ! They are indeed quite rare .Id have sworn Art Deco but there you have it.

A lot of deco styling sort of jumped over WWII.
