I found these 3 paintings today at a local thrift store for only $5 each!
I tried looking up the artist's name but the Bong I found is a more modern artist.
Are these by a known artist or souvenir paintings?
    Thanks!

Somehow they don't look really "factory" to me. More like a painter in a different climate, doing paintings of the local scenery, a la those gazillion French artists who captured every aspect of Paris in rain, snow, and wind.

I would, however, like to know who the three individuals are who are apparently walking on water in #1...

The Philippines, I'd think, but could be elsewhere. Don't think factory paintings. Someone brought them back and had them framed so thought worth investing. Can't read exact date but 1980s sometime.

There appear to be a number of Filipino artists named Bong. Must not be an uncommon surname.

I am going to guess 1987 "souvenir" paintings - not badly done.

"No" what? Do you think them to be older than 1980s? Do you think no one brought these home as a souvenir of their trip?

Found the 3 "Bong" paintings going through the stacks which led me here - antidiem I think Debora was agreeing with you that they were not badly done?

They are not badly done. I still think they are souvenir art, but not factory art. Now that I see them again, I wonder if they are Vietnamese?

I continue to think they're souvenir paintings from the Philippines. (That's Mayon volcano.) Certainly high impact but also quickly made.
