Anyone know anything about machinest tools?

Bought a vintage machinist toolbox. Stuff that is marked is easy to figure out, but does anyone know what these are. They are marked Fred Geiger but since that search does not bring anything up for machinist, I figured it was the user who put his name on them.

Those are blocks for clamping a round stock on a mill table. Don't know the technical name.

And for aligning sections of angle, flat bar and square bar for welding.

...and why not?

 

These are made in several sizes. The ones in the images are indexed to keep the work piece in line with the mill and the table. Before China, these were not cheap.
