Featured Anyone know anything about this necklace with Asian dangle

Howdy all,
These are about 10mm and 51” in length. No clasp and strung on black silk or some type of cloth They are knotted in between. The only clue as to anything is the small gold tag. It held with 14k acid and not at 18k. They test in the nephrite range but it also sits in a few other spots. My best guess is jade but…. The seller has no info and the price was right.

Any info is very much appreciated

Could be black jade, try to shine a strong light near a hole where the stone is thin, black jade is dark green in reality and that may show there.
The tag is Fu, one of the auspicious characters FU, LU, SHOU. Means luck and happiness

So, I went through all of the beads placed over my iPhone light. I found one bead that showed variation. Thank goodness I captured a pic because after I lost it, I went through the whole necklace again and could not find it again. It shows through with almost a tortoise shell coloration but this is not tortoise at all. Just could not think of another color combo to liken it to. So cool!!! Gotta research more

 

This speaks agate/onyx to me!

 

Ahhh, I kinda suspected after I saw the brown.
