Does anyone know who the artist is of this? Signature appears to be the letter Y inside a square?
One of the few paintings I am not crazy about; but for $5.95 & the unusual signature that I think, I may have, possibly, seen before - I bought it!
    Thanks

Jivvy the research is my favorite

Is the frame made out of... I dunno, the bottom piece looks like a piece of plywood paneling? Maybe optical trick of the photo?

This feels 1970s student piece to me, but I don't know why.

Hello, Did you find out the name of the artist? I have a similar painting that I acquired around 1968. Best.
