ANYONE KNOW FISHER ARTIST OF 'NUDE RECLINING' PAINTING? THOUGHTS ON PAINTING?

I found this today at a small Haitian thrift store. I can't find the artist - first initial is a N, right? Anyone heard of him?
Any thoughts on painting? Age? This is a impressionist painting, right?

I'd consider it representational but not impressionist. Looks like an answer to Manet's Olympia. Hair do appears to be 1970s which appears to be about the same age as frame. Take a look at this chart, bottom right.

In the play of light, I can see this as inspired by impressionism, but I do agree with @Debora -- I would not go so far as to call it impressionism. I think the artist was going for realism.

I think the first initial is M, but I didn't find anything under M Fischer. I think this is a student/hobbyist piece.

 

I'd agree. Student piece. He struggled a bit with sheets but captured his model's face well. She'd be recognizable if met.

I've seen it before, which means it is a copy of an older painting. I just can't remember, I'm sure someone else can.

 

ust looking to see if this is more clear - I took these with my phone & just found by accident that if I tap the screen while in camera mode it pre focuses? Any difference?
PS - Thanks for info - I thought 60's or 70's too.

I think the last name is spelled Fischer. Looks like an extra letter in there.
