Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I’m going to tag @Ghopper1924, but for starters, can your Mom tell you how long she’s had it, and maybe how/where it came from? Usually, I think, if the maker’s not on the face, it should be somewhere inside, BUT, I’M NO EXPERT ON THESE, so DO WAIT for others to respond!!! It’s very ‘shiny’ just from the pics, which TO ME might say ‘newer’, but as I said, PLEASE wait for someone MORE KNOWLEDGEABLE on these!!!! It’s a very NICE looking piece!!!

British, we know, from the imagery (Britannia, etc.)

Looks like the theme is exploration. This tall case clock seems to be late 19th/early 20th century, and I would agree on British with Deborah. Beyond that the O.P. will have to do their best to examine the movement for information, i.e. signatures, company names, etc.

There is a wide range of values for tall case clocks, depending mostly on who made the movement. The case is certainly pretty.

I see a tavern scene and symbols for England, Scotland, Ireland and Wales. Not sure I agree they make up an exploration theme.

Looks like the Robbie Burns theme is on that specific clock, but not on samuel's clock.
The Robbie Burns theme is a depiction of the meeting described in "Willie Brew’d a Peck o’ Maut", featuring 3 men in Scottish dress: Robert Burns, Willie Nicol, and Allan Masterson.
Samuel's clock has three men and a woman, all in regular period dress.

For those who enjoy Robbie Burns songs, this is "Willie Brew’d a Peck o’ Maut":

Nice burr walnut. My gut feel is it's a good repro.

Yes, flame as well as book-matched mahogany. Beautiful! It's popularity ebbed and flowed from the mid-19th to mid-20th centuries.
