It is 2.4 ounces and it is about 7.5 inches long. There are no markings anywhere. And if there were they are no longer there. Attached are the pictures in a pdf file. Thank you for your time and help.

I get it, but you don't have to be so rude! How about not responding unless you can be respectful. Thanks!

it is solid. Found in my father-in-laws house, so that wouldn't be helpful. He passed and can't ask him. I came on here in hopes I get some ideas that is all. I gave all the information I possibly could. If I had more, I'd give more. All I am getting is rude people. I am done on here. Thank you for your help. I am just going to assume it is an old iron spear, people who seen it in person said the same. So I am going to go with that and leave this rude place. Thank you again and have a great day.

Looks like a spear head to me. As for Komo, he just takes some getting used to.

Most of us are not rude. Unfortunately, everyone has to go through the "Komokwa Experience" in the beginning........

That said, if your spear is solid, it may more likely be from something architectural, like a fence, than be an actual spear. A spear head with a shaft tapered in that direction would have a hollow socket that would allow it to be seated onto a pole. It also appears to be made of cast iron, which would be typical of a decorative application, as opposed to wrought iron which would be used in a functioning spear.

You would be surprised at what kind of information new posters don't include, even when they know it. The more information we have, the more likely we will be able to help.
