Anyone recognize the artist siggie on this pierced pot?

    I thought it might have been a mass-produced item til I saw the bottom I still could be wrong Is it just purely decorative? I ask because of the way the top has a hole in it I think I see SME ? on the bottom Any help is much appreciated
