Anyone recognize the signature on this chunky sterling necklace?

    Trying to ID this signature. Any ideas?

    Hello Bryan.
    It looks like Arabic script. Probably not a signature, but an assay mark or date mark. Could be Egyptian, but I (and others) would need to see the entire necklace and detailed pictures. There seems to be another, smaller mark to the left of the big one, could we see that too?

    Arabic script, which is also used for Farsi. Need to see the whole thing.

    Agree, Arabic script is used for a range of languages, ranging from Moroccan Arabic in the west, to Jawi (Indonesia) in the east. No doubt the Moro in the Philippines also know a derivative of Arabic script. And Central Asia, of course.
    So the necklace could be from North Africa or a large part of Asia. As I said, we need to see the entire necklace and detailed pictures.
