Anyone seen a Asian bowl like this??

Looking for help with this bowl it is a style that I have never came across yet. Hand painted umbrellas??

Chinese and Japanese share many of the same characters (Kanji), since the two peoples were once one and had a shared singular language.

水月 Mizuki (In Chinese)
水月 Suigetsu (In Japanese)

On the strength of decor alone, I feel sure this is at least 20th century, probably late 20th century.

 

Unfortunately, I've not seen that particular pattern before.

丼 - Literally Japanese for Bowl
