Approximately 150 years old, what would be the price?

    Most people here don't like putting values on items for a number of reasons, but maybe @komokwa @afantiques can be of help, here.

    it's a nice clock , but I don't recognize the movement....or for that matter the weight.....which looks odd from here...

    The movement is a routine French timepiece movement, the whole thing is about 1890 - 1910, give or thake, and the case appears to be ebonised wood. Value depends on where you are and how you sell it. A UK auction estimate would be £40 - £60, it is not very commercial here at present.

    I am a bit puzzled by the bar and knob sticking out of the side. I have no idea what if anything this does and have never seen the like.
