Featured ARE THESE CARVED BOOK ENDS HAWAIIAN? NATIVE AMERICAN?

    I found these at a local thrift store today. They are hand carved I think - but have no markings except III in pencil on bottom of each.

    What are they? They look like part of a totem pole to me.

    Tiki bookends model III?
    To make sure the bookends of model II and III don't get mixed up and you end up with mismatched Tiki bookends? (Don't you hate it when that happens?)
