Bought a box of Carnival glass animals from the flea market last Saturday (mostly from Fenton 70's) but in the bottom of the box there were these - looked like salts BUT the indent is too shallow for any salt I've ever seen and they are "crooked" as they sit. Thought maybe piano leg insulators but very small for that. I'll post the pics :

They are small and the dish out is shallow - I can't see them as a candle holder. the holes are only about a 1/2" deep at the most!

Aside from thin tapers, I'm at a loss. Maybe very badly-conceived bud-vases for tiny blooms?

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... were there any birds amongst the carnival glass animals?

I've already put them in my cabinets but here's what I picked up:
    Mini Swan/Goose on nest:

    pure glass duck:

I'm not sure what this is - toothpick holder swan??

And I picked up these bird figurines - don't know anything about them!

I also have these eagle sculptures from years ago - any Idea what they are? I just keep these in my collection, plus the last one is an owl I bought many moons ago that was attacking a snake - poor snake

    GaleriaGila Hola, y'all!

Those carnie glass birds are just beautiful. No knowledge about your eagles and owl. But I'm impressed with the way the eagles are perched with the perspective of being high above the land/castle/etc. Dramatic! As for the owl and snake, I would have been drinking tequila one night and snapped that snake's head off. Or at least put a sock over it.

I like the owl and snake! But I've been into owls lately...

    Hi,
Messi must have been a smoker. The rest of us smokers knew what they were.

    Hi Gila,
Not hiding anything, I stopped 15 years ago. Being in the accident and spending three months in ICU, they did not allow me to smoke.
