Not sure if these little matching items are vases or something else. About 3" tall. Lots of writing inside. Can anyone decipher? Thanks. ghasianvsprd.jpg

    Might be Japanese brush pots.

The mark on the bottom says Kutani something.

I found your kutani mark on gbouvier.com: Kinko-do.

It won't let me do a direct link to the mark, but if you go here, you can click on Kinko-do on the left side: http://www.gbouvier.com/Seal/s_seal.htm

Here's a screen cap of it.

I haven't been able to find anything about who or what (person, kiln, place) Kinko-do is though.

    Sake cups makes sense.

According to Japanese Seals & Marks by James Lord Bowes, there is a Kinko factory, but I'm having a hard time matching up the marks shown in the book with your mark.

"Do" means house, temple or hall according to the book.
