Are these porcelain candlesticks old?

    Me and my dad really aren't sure. It's sooo clean haha. But it does have some grey on the base that looks characteristic of age. The decoration looks older in style for sure.

    What dyou think have these just been kept insanely well.

    The gilding makes me think very late around 1870-1900 but it's odd

    The large breather hole in the bottom makes me think quite modern.

    I nearly bought them haha. I see too many things I want nowadays, got to be so careful where I put my money.

    Some days I wish I had a specialism not an ecclecticism

    You will, out of necessity, once you are drowning in 'stuff'.:nailbiting: You will still buy the occasional 'other' thing, but will focus on a few specialisms so you won't lose your sanity.:playful:

    I think older, I've seen 19th C stuff with big holes. Austrian or German perhaps, eaarly 20th with nice hand painting.

    They are lovely and in very good shape. If you like them and the price is reasonable then go for it :)
