Argh argh Mates - Pirate Piggy

Hi Friends,

Found this adorable pirate piggy resting on his treasure chest. Need help dating it and possibly maker. There are no markings. Looks old and I would like to learn more info about him. Little guy is happy as a sap I tried uploading a pic in ebay but found nothing like him.

Do you have a bottom shot, Chiquita? I'm thinking Japanese mid-century. Most likely only marked with a sticker. Going to be tough to pin him down further unless there's an import catalog out there somewhere. He's adorable!

He's awfully cute. I'd say Japanese too, from the paint job.
