We have this WWII “Army Radio Receiver BC-728 Signal Corps” Unit in great condition. Trying to find out more about the unit, when it was made, and what for exactly(was it surplus, given to foreign governments, etc) and the meaning behind the blank serial number plate.

    Thank you for looking! 383F1EF7-2822-481F-928B-A37BC8ACDDE9.jpeg 12487E35-4703-450E-852D-0153A8AABE36.jpeg 4EC9617A-1B21-4034-A0DD-58BE61302CA5.jpeg 64056AC4-F90F-403F-AA47-028986A68DAE.jpeg

It is real. There is no fake. It went to the surplus market because it was not sold to the government.
