    That's a repeat show, but anyway, she's keeping it.....she SAYS!!!! And YES, it IS a VERY NEAT piece of carving!!!!!!:):):)

    That might well be from a Bimah, but ... dunno. It's pretty cool either way. It would help to know if the writing is Hebrew or Yiddish. Yiddish would tend to point to a secular purpose, but not necessarily.
