I am thinking Art Deco era, silver and molded glass? The patterns in the green think are making me second guess though. I tested to see if it would fluoresce and it does not. Opinions, please!

Don't know, but I like it. Czechoslovakia was the source for much of the interesting glass jewellery (or for the glass elements in jewellery made elsewhere) from the first half of the 20th. What does the back look like?

I thought it was quite beautiful too It drew me in and I had to have it! lol I don't even mind the patina on the silver.

Beautiful! I think it might be older than Art Deco, and maybe not Bohemian.
The floral scrollwork on the mount looks more late 19th century. Maybe German Jugendstil (Art Nouveau)?

The 'patina' is mostly tarnish, it can be cleaned gently to reveal that lovely decoration on the mount.

Always show a photo of the clasp if possible. (Approx length of the chain wouldn't hurt, too. :)) All can help ID with age, etc.

    What an interesting piece!

Forgot to say, look for tiny marks in the silver, they could be there. Maybe a tiny lozenge shape hidden among the foliage.;) Maybe the number 800 or 835 somewhere. Check the clasp as well.

Sadly, the clasp is gone Each Chain measures 12 1/4" each side and then there is the added measurements of the centerpiece that are approx 5/8" to 3/4" wide x 2 1/8" long What is kind of puzzling is the patterns in the glass I'm going to give it the once over again for a mark

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I'm also puzzled by what look like brush strokes on the bottom.

Is the piece smooth to the touch? Have you tapped it on your teeth? (excellent test for glass or other material, compare tapping with known pieces of glass/resin/plastic)

I want it to be glass, but there are things that don't make sense to me...
