    Dear friends,

I am in possession of a 1920s Art Deco Holophane Pendant by Émile J. Ruhlmann - please see attached photo. The lamp is actually a pendant, and originally has a different shade. This shade is a Holophane, two-piece unit, as pictured in the second attached picture.

I am looking to restore this lamp to its original beauty. However, I am struggling to identify the type of Holophane shade that fits this piece. On Ebay, I find two-piece ribbed shades that have nrs. 2130 and 2031.

Would anyone know whether these are the correct shade combinations for this lamp?

    Any thoughts much appreciated!
    Best,
    Simon

    Very nice!

There are some Holophane catalogs from the 20s, 30s, and 40s in the Internet Archives-->

Mainly retail/commercial, hospital, etc., but you may get some ideas there.

    And welcome, by the way.

Without a catalog or example to compare to, it will be difficult to know. Any way to get some precise measurements from the seller? If you think it would work, you might buy with the understanding that it could be returned if it does not.
