Art Deco Mirror Identification

I have a mirror that got dropped off at my shop and I am trying to identify it. It is 5 ft tall and 23" wide. I think it may have been the top to some type of dresser at one time or had more to it that made it a free standing mirror. There is a stylized crown and Deco style sunburst in the top portion and the leaves are nailed in brass. The owner thinks this may have belonged to a "someone" back in the 20's or 30's and said he thinks the crown might have been an emblem of some sort for someone. I would really appreciate any help or direction anyone could give me about this.

 

I think the design has been mis-identified. The Art Deco style is known for its use of bold geometric forms such as this example.

most probably Italian post war. often seen in hotel lobbies and private entrance halls.

 

Wow, thank you guys so much! I was basing my search off of what I was told by the owner and it would have probably taken me a long time to find the same information. I've only dealt with glassware and smalls up until now and I am trying to learn more about furniture and larger items.

 

Certainly has a lot of "wow" factor.
