Featured Art Deco sideboard maker identification?

Hi. I bought a storage unit in Seattle, WA approx ten years ago which contained two items - the following sideboard and an armoire. To date, I've not been able to figure out who made either of them.

On the sideboard are a couple hand written marks on the back of the piece (see pics) and I'm hoping someone will recognize either the signature or the very unique way the number two is written. I'm trying to figure out what it may be worth. Any thoughts or resource recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you again. Can tell you it is not American. Would like to see a pic of it closed up. Kind of reminds me of a Biedermeier piece but I am sure it is not any way near old enough. Would think 50s or so European. Possibly even Scandinavian.

Thank you for your responses... I'm having trouble getting certain photos uploaded and to display properly. So hopefully the two pics I wanted in the original message are attached to this one... We'll see! Thanks again

European figure ones, as well. So not British, I'd say too light for German or Dutch.
