Art Deco sideboards

    Own these two Art Deco side boards and would like to find the designer . Especially the foot with the curved wood is maybe a clue ?

    Nice pieces but virtually impossible to find a maker if not labeled. Details of construction and hardware may help us pin down a country. Also where you got them and any history you do have would be helpful. I think I see black marble tops. This is usually an indication of French manufacture.

    My only reaction is "ooh pretty", but then I love both Deco and marble. Is one of those for dishes and one for linens?

    I'd think French too. Late Deco - probably only just pre war and possibly even post.
