Hi Folks! I've got a really pretty sapphire blue bowl I can't ID. It measures 6 3/4" square and a little over 3 1/4" at its highest. Waffle type base. Sorry about the glare. I'd like to know manufacturer and dates of production if possible. Thanks much!

Sorry, I couldn't find it. I checked Jobling but didn't see one. I think it is one of these companies but what I think doesn't help you, sorry:(

On the contrary, it helps me a great deal - at least I know it's not American and most likely British. I appreciate all the research you did on my behalf. Thank you.

I Googled the day you posted this and found a dozen or more examples of this pattern. Bowls with underplates, platters, etc. Seems all or most were listed in the US.

Some listed simply as art deco, found one listed as Czech glass and the majority listed as Imperial Glass. I couldn't find any listing with a book ID to verify the Imperial Glass claim.

Most were amber glass, a couple yellow and a few in clear glass. I only found 2 blue.

I wish I would have saved my search terms as I changed them, but I only saved 3 links. :(

I searched the Chat About Depression Glass site and couldn't find it. I'm leery about the Imperial attribution. Hopefully someone here has a book and will check it out for you.

Thanks, Lauragarnet! That's definitely it. I'll check my Imperial book but I think I would have remembered it. Just doesn't look Imperial to me. Wish I had the underplate.

Maybe someone on the Glass Message Board can help with an id.
