    Are those silver metallic flecks inside the glass, frothy clusters of bubbles on the inside, or an acid treatment on the outside?

    Since it has a long, straight, stabby beak and a raised crest on the head, I'll guess it's a heron.

    Silver flecks or bubbles?

    Flecks. There are some bubbles too but I think they are not controlled.

    The silver flecks are called "Adventurine."

    Donna,

    Aventurine, not Adventurine

    I thought aventurine is metallic gold color. :confused:

    If the flecks are metallic silver, it should be called silver foil or silver leaf.

    @lauragarnet

    I have seen Aventurina used to describe silver inclusions but in my mind it didnt seem right. I thought that as well (that it was gold flake inclusions) and searched a bunch of Glass sites hoping to find a definition for silver inclusions. I never did find a definition, but continue to see it called Aventurina. I wonder if @Ownedbybear would know?
