    You may not. Glass blowing has been quite popular for some time now. I have a glass studio just blocks away and the shop is full of such things. :)

    Then try rubbing something dark into it that can be washed away such as charcoal ( briquette maybe ) , furniture touch up stick or even shoe polish.
