2 pieces I need some help to identify.

    1. Glassware sculpture of 2 Dolphins, has a signature I cannot decipher. Measures 13 3/4" wide, 10" tall and is 1/2" thick.

    2. redware handles tray, signed on the back FAJ 78? Measures 13 1/2" long and is 10 1/2" wide.

I think the glass piece is modern Chinese and the signature is meant to look like Galle.

The second piece looks like studio pottery.

Thanks, but I am going to have to disagree about the glass piece. I know Galle did cameo glass and I have had a couple pieces of the signed fakes. I do not really see this as a Galle fake, but more like a studio piece.

Im going to have to disagree with your disagree.:) The quality of the glass piece screams cheap chinese ,even studio glass would be better quality .I really like the pottery dish, looks like its signed "Jay".

I'm pretty sure the dolphins are neither real Galle cameo glass, nor intended to be fake Galle cameo glass......but beyond that I have no opinion.
The second piece does look like studio pottery, or amateur work....my Mom made lots of similar items.

Fake Galle---It depends on who faked the piece. The signatures would be different on other fakes. This one looks like it was Sand Blasted.

Or acid-etched, or some similar process. But it doesn't look like any kind of cameo glass that I've seen.

This isn't cameo, I think that's pretty well established. Is it a planter or just a single surface with a light below it?

Just a simple wood stand, notched in the center for the glass to sit in. A couple of different angles.
