IMG_2228.jpeg IMG_2229.jpeg I don't really know much about this. What do you think, is this silver? How much could this cost? There are no signs or marks.

A sweet brooch, that has been produced and reproduced a lot in several metals. Yours is period, imo.
It would help us to see the material if you polished it a bit, but I think it could be silver.
What about the tiny indentation on the hook clasp? Silver marks can be tiny.

The repros are not as well done. I"ve had both kinds. Definitely polish it to see if it's sterling. It won't hurt this piece to make it bright and shiny.

Are you sure? The pin looks like copper. In some countries silver brooches occasionally had base metal pins. For instance in the Netherlands, but not only there.
Have you looked at the indentation on the clasp?

The repro ones are usually pressed out, yours is much nicer quality. Period and silver I’d think.

There is no way to positively ID silver from a photo, you need to take it to be tested.
