Signature looks like J P Wiell, not that I have a clue who that might be.

As for style, I have question about what's there. Are the figures in the foreground drawn on (painted on) the inside of the glass, which is not directly touching the paper on which the scene in the background was drawn? It's rather "cartoonish" - maybe intended to look like a child's drawing?

Doesn't the numbering on the back suggest this is a print from a run of 950? Can't quite imagine the artist having to do more drawing to finish each piece?

I eat my words & Bakers is right on all counts:

Edit: Warning. Site is extremely slow to load, I suppose for quality of images. Found right clicking & selecting View Image when that choice is on the menu could hurry things up. This is not the one with the title Children at Play, which has a maypole.

I started with his website, hoping to see samples of his work and gave up, Bronwen. ;)

At least the first page comes up & says he paints on glass. I saw a few, & the style is right. From a little bit of video I watched it appears he does not do all the work himself.

It appears that there are levels of the paint for the picture or the print should we say. Very unique. Im going to check those links that you guys sent.

Can't believe I could open that on my phone, no problem... go figure

    Nice one, @Bakersgma

I think you could call the style (not the technique) naive on this piece - can't say about the others on his site.

This looks like it may come from his moderately priced gift collection - simple and likeable

    Welcome @Jonathan Moody!
