My latest find thrift store hunting!
I like the art & was sure it was done by a known artist even though it's smaller than most I've seen like this (10" x 15" and 15" x 25" with frame), but I can't find anything on this artist - am I reading name right? Is this by Rahlo?
Any thoughts on the art itself?
    Thanks all!

    Isn't that a P rather than an R?

Maybe - didn't see anything under Pahlo that fits either

It appears to say "Pablo" but to my eye this is a factory painting. (Others may have differing opinions.)

I wouldn't worry about it. Actually, I love the painting and wouldn't care who painted it.

Jivvy the research is my favorite

I totally get the "factory art" inclination, but the frame seems atypical of factory art.

But I am not a frame person (and maybe someone re-framed factory art).

(wondering if @verybrad can offer insight on the frame)

PS: I lean strongly to "factory art", but I'm by no means certain.

Time for my "parrot" question... Anything on the back? Label, sticker, hand written notations?

I also think factory. Frame is late 70s-80.

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I also think the sig is probably Pablo -- which means, almost impossible to find even if it isn't factory art! But I like the painting also.
