    Hi all

Hoping someone will know who made this wonderful copper pot.
Tried to trace family crest...which i think is Austrian..and the letters stamped to the base may just be a lead should someone recognise them Austrian arts & crafts copper jug.jpg IMG_20200121_131832.jpg IMG_20200121_131853.jpg IMG_20200121_131906.jpg

A crest for sure but that doesn't appear to be a family crest.

And possibly someone applied the stones after the fact as they are not exactly in a straight line with the "crest"

That crest is the Savoy Eagle and my guess is that pot is made up from bits and assembled by an English craftsperson during the Ruskin inspired craft revival movement of the 19thc.

Shape is a dead pinch on a Dresser one.

    Hi Blooey
thanks and u r right about the eagle. Yes does look somewhat Dresser...i do find it interesting that the maker marked this piece...making it somewhat a welll made piece.
    Have a great weekend all
