    Can anyone help me identify the origin/period of these two paintings.

    Jivvy the research is my favorite

    Not that you don't already know it's Thai, but the white kites are a traditional Thai fighter kite called Chula.

    Input because my fighter kite knowledge is almost never of any use. :hilarious:

    Hi,
    When I lived in Manhattan I saw a cordage for fighting kites in China town. It had tiny pieces of glass embedded in the string to cut other kites cords. It was so shocking.
