Asian Carved Wood Picture

    This is a carved wood panel picture I purchased awhile back at a thrift store. Looks to be Asian and of 2 men in some type of martial arts.

    The wood panel measures about 7 3/4" x 5". Does anyone know what type of martial arts the men are performing, the age of the picture, the origin and the type of wood it was carved on? Thanks

    Other than the guy on the right saying..." please don't hit me !! " ...it's not any martial arts pose I'm familiar with. :playful:
    Also the clothing seems a little over done for fighting.....maybe Dancers ???? :wideyed:;)

    Thanks for the info komokwa. I'm still not sure what they are. It almost looks like they are wearing ice skates.
