Asian Clay Horse Water Dropper

Looks like an interesting piece but with that metallic finish I'd say it is modern. You need less than an ounce of water in the well and it starts pouring from the spout. You can control the flow so maybe a water dropper?
Any thoughts?

Found what is it. A reproduction of a Korean
funerary vessel from the Shilla Dynasty, 6th Century. The original artifact was excavated at Golden Bell Tomb(Geumnyeongchong) in 1924.

Any idea what one would pour out of them? Ritual libation? Presumably not holy water.....
