Some type of Asian Diorama - measures about 13" by 4" it might be slate. Not perfect by any means.
I bought it because of the low price and it has a local reputable galley's label. Anyone know what this might be and the age.

It is an antique Chinese panel, lacquered wood, from a house or a piece of furniture. It would have been in an ornate framework together with a lot of other charming scenes.
