I'm trying to get any information on this piece. Possible maker and or where it was made? All I know is my parents bought this at an auction in California in the 1970's. It measures about 4.5" tall and about 4" wide. I tried to get a picture of the inside so you can get an idea of the material it's made of. Also, the last picture is a very close of up what might be some stamp or marking on the bottom. Thank you for any help!

Yes, your piece is Chinese, from the Shiwan kilns, and dates to the late 19th, early 20th century.

I agree Komokwa. There is a broken piece here. Something is missing. It looks peculiar.

I think that's a poorly colored fly whisk, this is a common form, the two sages with one holding a fly whisk.
