Asian Pottery Dragon Hanging Pot

    Wonder if this is just for decoration and maybe not that old as it appears to be. The reason for that is that the spout is not open at the front (it has a hole but it is just 1/4" deep). But on the other hand, the base of the spout seems to have an opening. I see bubbles and the water goes inside when I tilt the pot.
    Any thoughts on usage, origin, age etc?

    Hi,
    Looks like a water dropper for ink that someone has macramaed (spelling) with cording. WAG:oops:
