    I see these described as 19thc but I don't think many, if any of them are actually antique. They started showing up in the 1980's and in all my years I have never seen one in beat-up condition - while other genuinely old pewter tea wares show up sometimes bent all to heck.

    I agree with blooey, not antique. The style is called Swatow pewter, after the city of Swatow/Shantou, on China's southeast coast.
