Asian water color, can anyone ID the artist? thanks.

I cannot help with the ID, but I really like this watercolor. I can't figure out if it's supposed to be the bombing of a town? Or an aerial of clouds? I'm going with my first guess due to the orange flame color included.

 

I think it's some kind of landscape abstract. The only thing I can read is the date - 1971. There's a signature on it in Latin alphabet and what looks like Chinese, but beyond that...dunno.

 

Beautiful work IMO. If no one can read it here you can check if you have a Chinese business nearby and see if someone can read the sig. Last name looks like 3 letters so guessing Chinese from the look of the characters.

 

@Couch Potato Wannabe , @JayBee can you read the Chinese siggy? I hope it isn't as bad as the Latin script one.

 

Sorry, I already saw this post previously, but couldn't make it out. It's too grouped together for me to read it clearly enough. You may need someone more fluent in such handwritten styles.

 

I thought as much when I saw it, it is pretty much the same problem as with the Latin script. But thanks for looking.
