Featured Askew brooch

Picked this up from EBay as the maker wasn’t listed in the title.
Does it look legitimate? From my research it does and I can’t find any record of fakes but I’m always suspicious and I couldn’t find this exact one on the internet to compare.

This one on 1st Dibs has a round makers mark but the roses and cherub backs look similar to me. I hadn’t come across this maker before so thanks for posting.

 

KSW, the hinge on yours looks like the one on the 1st dibs one. Does the clasp also look the same? The 2 brooches use different methods of attaching those findings, but think it is because the second one does not provide a closed surface. They look like same maker to me, so stand or fall together when it comes to authenticity.

 

The clasp on mine is more rounded but as you say, it doesn't have the bar underneath it so that may be the reason for the difference.
I've found some more with the oval makers mark but I'll go and have a look at clasps. Hopefully the forgers are to busy honing their Tiffany and Hermés fakes and not bothering with stuff like this.

Dammit, dammit!. They make some gorgeous stuff. Worth a google.Another slippery slope I could be down very quickly. Some of it looks Neiger 'ish'. I found one with the same clasp and badge as mine so it's looking hopeful.
