Featured Audrey Hepburn (original playbill 1949)

    This is a recent addition to my collection. It is a rare item. This is an original playbill from the London Hippodrome stage production of High Button Shoes. What makes this playbill special, it’s the “very first” appearance of a young Audrey Hepburn on theatre stage. She appeared in the production as a chorus girl. This playbill is from a February, 1949 show. It is still in nice condition throughout, I was able to get a few pictures posted of it. This is definitely an early piece of the esteemed career of Audrey Hepburn.

    I have a few postcards with Hippodrome Theatres depicted on them. Hippodromes in their golden age were "palaces" of entertainment, incredible architecture, attention to detail, and lavish interiors. Link to a good example below.
