Auld Lang Syne Glass.can anyone tell me if it is a rummer glass,and how old it is.

    Can anyone tell me anything about this glass
    It is 14cms tall
    7 cms wide.
    I think it might be a rummer glass but not sure

    From what I'm seeing on line it looks correct. Early 19th century.

    Thank you does that make made in Victorian times ,it was my hubby's either Granddads or great granddads glass.

    I would think more mid to late 1800s.
    Only my guess.

    Antiques.com says Late Georgian Scottish drinking glass 1820s

    Decoration is sand blasted, no earlier than 1890.

    I'm with @Cherryhill . These were wildly and widely copied in the late 19th C. PArt of that whole thing of Scotland being fashionable.

    Hi Brenda and welcome. Queen Victoria reigned from 1837 to her death in 1901 so if it was made between those dates it is Victorian :)

    Late 19th century. Note the foot has smaller diameter than bowl. Before c. 1850 the foot was almost invariably wider than the bowl making a glass more stable. Presumably necessary because the Georgians were great drinkers!
