It was purchased by myself this year from an old lady whose mother escaped nazi controlled territory in WW11 . She was carried in her mothers arms as she was under 4 years old. The vase apparently was a gift from their very high society friends whom stayed at their house overseas, for however long. Please date it and give me as close to true a value as you can. It is absolutely lovely and my favorite vase I own. Thanks! Check out my other post if you are knowledgeable :)

Thank you very much. That one is listed for 200$+ above what I paid. I just love it, I may never sell it. Fantastic information! I have some more porcelain if you can be of help. This is a Bavarian dish of some kind picked up at a thrift shop. I got it because of origin and the nice holes/ opening around the edge. Any idea on Value age or design name?

According to this site, the mark is for Carl Schumann company in Arzberg, Bavaria. All it says for time frame is "after 1900." See the first row of marks at the bottom of this page:

Helpful information most definitely. I expect back then they would retire a makers mark after about 20 or so years, and use a different one, but I am plainly assuming. would you agree? I'm hoping it is pre- WW1 but I'm happy with my purchase even if it's only "almost an antique"(less than 100 years old)

I don't have an opinion about that. I've heard of some marks lasting longer than 20 years, but am not an expert. It appears that company had so many marks that it is hard to tell. Some on that site have been identified in specific time ranges and others just say "after" or "from" a certain date.
