Authenticating John Haymson watercolor as original?

Picked up this John Haymson watercolor/pen ink framed sketch for $5 yesterday (was $10 but half off Tuesdays) and have been doing a little research since then. I've seen that he did a lot of numbered & signed prints but this one has no numbering and the ink looks like it could be original from what I can tell. Searched his name with the title "taj mahal", Google lenses it and have found no others like it so it is leading me to believe that I may have acquired a one of one. Correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not super experienced or educated when it comes to authenticating art. Also... IF it is an original and one of one what kind of value would something like this be appraised at? Thanks for any info! I can also provide more pictures when I get home from work if that helps anyone with giving info :) IMG_20250604_124650_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg IMG_20250604_124703_(1080_x_1434_pixel).jpg

That mat is causing acid burn on the print so needs to be replaced. You may find more info under it, or on the back, when you remove it.

Just as a note: Open Edition prints are not numbered.

It's almost certainly going to be a multiple. That seems to have been the artist's business strategy.

Based on your detail photos, it looks like a (stone) lithograph - definitely not a watercolor.
