AUTOGRAPHED? 1st EDITION OSCAR WILDE BOOK

I found this book in a box of antique books I bought at a estate sale last week. While looking through it I found what looks like Oscar Wilde's autograph, but since it's on a page dedicated to his wife I also thought it must be signed in plate?
Can someone tell me if this is a real autograph & what the book may be worth if so?

Sorry to say, not autographed by Wilde. He died in 1900, so it would be impossible for him to have signed a book published 13 years later.

Their covers (boards) sound like they vary somewhat from yours. I like the front cover on yours, even though it's not in the best condition.
