Autographed baseball has a signature but I'm hoping somebody can recognize it. Was sitting in Goodwill for twenty bucks !

Heh, one we can actually put a guess on (no accuracy warranted or implied):
might maybe possibly be Lance Berkman
    https://www.baseball-reference.com/players/b/berkmla01.shtml

We're looking of course at the somewhat more faint signature seen in the picture, and not at the thick, dark, crude scrawl below it that suggests "ZoL PL 59," which we hope is not actually on the ball but instead on the plastic case. No idea at all what that is.

As always, we'd remind you autographs are not remotely our specialty.

Second one may be Brandon Puffer's (#59) autograph (maybe...). Him and Berkman both played for the Astros in 2002/2003:

Lou Brock? He goes back a lot further; checking the age of the ball itself will help narrow it down.

evelyn, Brock was the first name that came to mind for us as well, but a little checking reveals what's on sam's ball is nothing like Brock's sig, but does vaguely resemble Berkman's...
sabre, nice sleuthing on Puffer... could be... but jeez, what an ugly sig -- looks like fingerpainting... and if it's Puffer's, the autograph of an ineffective short-career middle-reliever (seven total decisions and a 5.09 career ERA) very unfortunately dominates the ball over the comparatively attractive sig of a six-time All-Star, surely lowering the ball's market value...

We should've added that, unless you're a member of the Puffer family or his fan club, you might consider having his signature removed or at least lightened. There are methods for doing that, although it's considerably trickier on what looks like a game-used ball than it would be on a pristine, unused ball...
